May 13, 2019 The Harman Kardon Invoke is back on sale, slashing Cortana-infused commands and impressive audio quality to its lowest price yet. With an insane. Four days ago Cortana on the Harman Kardon Invoke stopped working with iHeartRadio. Now when you ask for a certain station or kind of music, Cortana responds that iHeartRadio isn't working right now. Please try again later. A few days ago I asked my Invoke to play Z100 on iHeart radio.
Hi,I'm trying to connect Harmon Kardon Invoke to my Windows 10. I originally bought this to be used with my Samsung Tablet but apparently Microsoft doesn't offer the Cortana app for this device. Hence, I have to resort to connecting to my computer. But whenI follow the instructions, it says It looks like you can't connect to Wi-Fi with this device. Try using another device that can connect to Wi-Fi when my computer is clearly connected to Internet. I've even bought a bluetooth adapter just for thisoccasion. This stupid speaker has been the most difficult gadget to set-up. I don't think I've ever been this frustrated with setting up a device.
How do I resolve this? I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 10 year Windows MVP here to help you.All hardware comes with a one-year Support, repair and replacement warranty so you could contact them at any time if need be.To set up and troubleshoot Harmon Kardon Invoke in Windows 10:I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.Standard Disclaimer: There are links to non-Microsoft websites. Hi Greg,Thanks for the response but this doesn't answer my question of why I get the message: It looks like you can't connect to Wi-Fi with this device. Try using another device that can connect to Wi-Fi. I feel like this is more of a Windows 10 problemthan Invoke itself.
My computer is clearly connected to the internet and it has Wi-Fi and bluetooth. Why am I getting this message? Is there a way to fix this?Alternatively, I bought this on Ebay but will Microsoft be willing to accept my return if I can't get this thing working?
The Invoke Manual is here to review:See if these help:When you buy on EBay you sometimes can get someone else's failed device that they couldnt' return, but if you paid by PayPal they will often protect you against this so that is your best bet if this is a lemon. You could also open it as a Support case with the manfacturer under their one year repair or replacement warranty always included in hardware purchases. If they're not sticklers about a store receipt then they may fix or replace it for you, or walk you throughsuccessful setup.Microsoft wouldn't take back something they didn't sell you.
No retail seller would. Windows MVP 2010-20 Over 100,000 helped in forums in 10 years I do not quit for those who are polite and cooperative. I have no idea what you've looked at before, so you'd have to list all of it for me to not proceed with being as thorough as I normally am.I've taken a lot of time and thought giving you everything I can find about this to which I've gotten no interaction on the steps themselves, so I have no idea what you've already done that I suggested, much less the ability to read your mind of what you'ddone before you asked here.Good luck.

When you get around to it you might use the one year warranty to have the manufacturer get it connected for you which they must do. In fact, I'll just go through with this whole process.1. I click the Talk to Cortana button in my task bar.2. I click the Cortana Device Setup on the left bar of the Talk to Cortana window.3. Then I click Add a Device and choose Harmon Kardon Cortana speaker.4. I agree to the End User License Agreement5. I click Next. Then this is what I get and this is where I am having trouble. My computer is clearly connected to Internet.
I use a desktop so it is connected via LAN but I also have Wi-Fi in my house. What can I do? Try running the Hardware & Devices troubleshooter at the point where the device is not detected in the process you show. But those errors make clear the issue is with the hardware device, not Windows. It is not detected.Did you contact the Manufacturer's Support which knows all of the Setup issues and has to help you get it set up correctly or repair or replace it?Please report back what they say, to help others.

I've tried doing this on my laptop which has a Windows 10. At this point, I'm giving up. I've tried setting this up on two computers, one tablet, and a cellphone. This has consumed way more time and given me so much more stress than I am willing to bear.I've looked up immensely on the Microsoft Commmunity websites and none of them are anything substantial and cannot answer questions that most people just give up.Overall, this experience has given me an extremely negative of Microsoft products and I will strongly recommend against buying any Microsoft products for anyone around me in the future. I'm just going to buy a Google or Amazon product and save myself thetime and the shittiness that Microsoft enforces upon me.
